Tie materials to a job
Open the order → Production (inventory / materials panel).
Check linked products, allocate or confirm, note shortages.
Create or open a PO for short items when needed.
Approving an order may create allocations when products are linked. Needs Pro Inventory and your inventory rights.
When you mark shipped
If a shipment is marked shipped and lines point at inventory products with enough stock, the system can post an outbound movement. That needs both shipping workflows (Shipping) and product linkage — labels alone without Inventory do nothing to stock.
Finished goods
Open Inventory → Finished goods.
Manage resale / FG stock created from completed work.
Label like other products when the UI allows.
Receive stock into the right location before you allocate to a job; negative or zero stock is a signal, not a suggestion.
