How this fits with Orders
Every card on the floor is the same order sales created. Production screens only show (or act on) jobs that are In production — or help you decide what to start next.
Typical path:
Sales/manager Approves the job and artwork is ready (see Orders).
Someone clicks Start production (status → In production).
The job appears on In Production, Queues, and related shop-floor views.
Floor staff advance stations until pack/ship.
Open the Production area
Sign in as staff.
In the left menu, open Production.
Pick Shop floor, In Production, or Queues.
Scan lives under Orders → Scan (handy on tablets at the station).
Order status vs station progress
Level | What it means | Examples |
|---|---|---|
Order status | Lifecycle of the whole job | Approved → In production → Complete / On hold |
Station status | Where the job sits inside production | Waiting → In progress → Completed at Printing, Packing, … |
Moving a station card does not replace approving the order or starting production — those happen on the order first.
