In Production is the station kanban: columns are your shop’s floor stations; cards are jobs already in production.
Open the board
Go to Production → In Production.
Find the job card under its current station.
Drag (or use station actions) to move waiting → in progress → completed.
You need permission to edit orders. View-only roles can watch but cannot drag. Ask a manager if the board won’t save.
Set up or rename stations
Open Settings → Shop floor stations (Shop settings → production stations tab).
Enable, label, and reorder stations for your shop.
Set daily capacity hours — that feeds schedule warnings and the Shop floor heatmap.
Setup often installs a default path like:
inventory check → ink/screen prep → printing → QC → packing → shipping
Customize names to match how your floor talks.
Platform-wide workflow catalog edits (rare) are for MadeLab platform admins under App Settings — see Settings.
Also on the order
The order’s Production tab shows the same station strip and quick actions when you’re focused on one job. Full job lifecycle: Orders.
Hold and complete
Put the order On hold when waiting on the customer or materials.
Complete when shop work is done (shipping may finish separately).
Managers can roll back to Approved if artwork must reopen — then designs unlock.
Scan or open the order from Shop floor / queues so status stays in sync for everyone on the team.
