Stations on In Production

In Production is the station kanban: columns are your shop’s floor stations; cards are jobs already in production.

Open the board

1. Go to Production → In Production.

2. Find the job card under its current station.

3. Drag (or use station actions) to move waiting → in progress → completed.

You need permission to edit orders. View-only roles can watch but cannot drag. Ask a manager if the board won’t save.

Set up or rename stations

1. Open Settings → Shop floor stations (Shop settings → production stations tab).

2. Enable, label, and reorder stations for your shop.

3. Set daily capacity hours — that feeds schedule warnings and the Shop floor heatmap.

Setup often installs a default path like:

inventory check → ink/screen prep → printing → QC → packing → shipping

Customize names to match how your floor talks.

The order’s Production tab shows the same station strip and quick actions when you’re focused on one job. Full job lifecycle: Orders.

Hold and complete

• Put the order On hold when waiting on the customer or materials.

• Complete when shop work is done (shipping may finish separately).

• Managers can roll back to Approved if artwork must reopen — then designs unlock.
