Platform Settings vs platform admin?
Platform Settings = your shop’s /settings/shop (UI title).
Platform admin = MadeLab root tools (/platform/tenants, access gates, …). Different audiences.
App Settings vs Shop / Platform Settings?
App: regional, upload rules, email look, branding.
Shop (Platform Settings): modes, profile, orders, payments, stations, notifications, automations, shipping, billing, domain, team permissions.
Why can’t I save Automations / Shipping / Permissions?
Plan lock — see 04. Free cannot edit Automations; shipping labels start Starter; field matrix edit starts Pro.
Where is custom domain?
/settings/shop?tab=custom-domain on Custom, or ask platform to assign Custom. Buyer impact: customer_portal.
Where did Print Shop tab go?
Legacy id redirects to Orders.
Cache / Activity purpose?
Ops visibility for cache and staff activity — not day-to-day order config.
Payments here vs /billing?
Settings → Payment processor = customers pay you.
Billing & Plan / /billing = you pay MadeLab.
