Can Free shops pack orders?
Yes. You cannot open the labels queue or carrier admin until Starter+.
Rates fail on Starter?
Check Settings → Shipping: ship-from address, carrier credentials, and sandbox vs live. Confirm the shop plan still includes shipping labels.
Void did nothing?
Not every carrier/void path is equal. Read the on-screen error and check label status. UPS live tends to be the most complete.
Why don’t I see Ship types in the menu?
Plan is Free, or your role can’t open settings/catalog admin. Ask a manager or upgrade.
Is this the same as Billing?
No. Billing is your MadeLab subscription. Shipping is customer parcel postage.
Automations “Order shipped”?
Marking shipped can trigger those alerts — see Automations.
