/marketplaceroutes)Your role has marketplace (and portfolio for Products) permission
Is the marketplace open to anyone on the internet?
No. Browse and checkout require a signed-in platform user with marketplace access. Customer portal buyers do not shop the B2B marketplace here.
Selling
Why can’t other shops buy my Active listing?
Most common: Payments not ready on your shop. Then check price > 0 and that they are not signed into your shop.
Why don’t I see my own Active listings on Browse?
By design—own Active inventory is managed under Products. Sold items may still appear for network visibility/engagement.
Can an individual member list items for sale?
No. Listings belong to the company. Finish /portfolio/company, then use /marketplace/products.
Sample listings appeared after signup—must I keep them?
No. Edit, archive, or replace them. They come from the Portfolio setup demo step.
Buying
Checkout says the listing is already sold
Another buyer claimed it (Active → Sold is atomic). Look for other Active listings; any charged duplicate path should follow the failure/refund handling in that environment.
Where do I manage cards for marketplace?
Profile → Payment methods, not Settings → Payments.
Payments & billing
Settings → Payments vs /billing?
Payments (Settings) | Billing | |
|---|---|---|
Money from | Customers / marketplace buyers → your shop | Your shop → platform (SaaS) |
Which processors work?
Whatever the environment enables (mock, Stripe Connect, PayPal, Square, etc.). Live selling typically needs real Connect/onboarding completed.
Limits
Is there a plan limit on number of listings?
Default plan catalog gates marketplace with a boolean feature flag—not a listing-count quota. General SaaS caps (users/orders) still apply to the rest of the shop.
